CONFIDENCE.
COMMUNITY..
Sister Carpentry exists to build skills, confidence and knowledge in building. We believe in a different way of living — one where women feel capable doing things themselves, and everyone feels confident in building their own homes.
WHAT WE DOOUR PROJECTS
TINY HOUSE PLANNING
Learn how to turn a tiny house idea into something real. We break down the planning process in a way that actually makes sense — from layouts and trailers to budgets, regulations and off-grid systems. Designed to help people feel confident making decisions before they start building.
BUILD CLUB
Coming soon
An online platform for people wanting to build practical skills and confidence around tools, materials and making things by hand. Through videos, resources and real-world projects, Build Club focuses on approachable education, creative problem solving and learning by doing.
CONSTRUCTION
We focus on designing and building small sustainable spaces that feel deeply connected to their environment. From off-grid cabins to tiny houses and mobile saunas, our work balances build ability, good design and a sense of adventure, creating spaces that feel a little different and sit lightly on the land.
Celebrating
women building
For generations, many of us haven’t been shown how to use tools, how to fix the things around us, or how to take ownership of building something from the ground up. We’ve been steered away from trades, construction sites, and tool sheds—told those spaces weren’t for us.
But here we celebrate women building, creating, and tinkering. We share skills, stories, and inspiration to put more tools in women’s hands—and more women’s names on the things they’ve built. Because the future should be full of women making their mark, one project at a time.
Diversity builds better.
